Bonhams, New Bond Street

A brilliant evening on Friday to launch our good friend, Dexter Brown’s art exhibition. We have been chums since 2007 when he donated original art ( see new book) for our auction. It made £6000 for the hospice.
Most of the paintings displayed sold
They are amazing,
The next day there was an auction of 36 cars but it looks as though only 19 sold. Some estimates were very ambitious.
The ex Paul McCartney Aston made 1.3 million.

Dexter likes my ladies !

Boys in town..left Tom ( Hollys) my Ben in the middle, Dave (Daisys) on right

288GTO did not sell..est 2-2.5 mill

‘Will you buy this for me darling? A snip at £11,000’

Chatted to a few people of interest in particular Mick Walsh from Classic & Sportscar. He is going to review my book.
Mega car owner ( Moss SWB, Le Mans D-type etc) Clive Beecham always friendly. Nicholas and I bought along Max Mosley, always so polite, who was heavy into conversation with journalist Simon Taylor about the days when Max ran March F1.

The evening could not have been better helped by copious amounts of Pol Roger champagne!

Need to sell more books please !
